Come down and I will explain my motive. I declare I will tell you the truth” Said Dame Partlet. “No, no, no! - ” said Chanticleer. ” - Take once. You won’t flatter me a second time into singing and winking my eyes. If a man fully shuts his eyes when he ought (I think another typo from passage) to keep them open, it serves him right if he comes to a bad end.”

Summary
